Overview
Logibuddy is a logistics operations platform used by 3PL, courier, B2C fulfilment and warehouse teams to run dockets, pickups, forwardings, returns, stock and reporting. This policy explains what data we hold, why we hold it, and what you can do about it. It applies to the Logibuddy website and the application at app.logibuddy.com.
In most cases your company is the controller of the operational data you enter (your customers, consignors, dockets and stock), and Logibuddy is the processor that stores and processes it on your instruction. For your own account and billing details, Logibuddy is the controller.
Data we collect
Account and billing data
Names, work email addresses, phone numbers, company details, branch and role assignments, and the billing information needed to run your subscription.
Operational data you enter
The records your team creates in the platform — orders, dockets and AWBs, manifests and run sheets, pickup requests, forwardings, event status updates, proof-of-delivery uploads, RTO records, warehouse stock, product and customer masters, and workforce records where you use the HR and payroll modules.
Technical data
Log data such as IP address, browser and device information, and timestamps, collected to keep the service secure and reliable. See the Cookie Policy for details on cookies and similar technologies.
How we use data
- To provide the platform and its modules, and to keep your data available across branches and users.
- To authenticate users, apply role-based access, and secure the service against misuse.
- To pass shipment data to carriers you have configured, such as the Delhivery carrier API.
- To send operational email and notifications you have set up, and important service notices.
- To provide support, investigate issues, and improve reliability and performance.
- To handle billing and meet our legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your operational records for advertising.
Sharing and sub-processors
We share data only where it is needed to run the service. This includes cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, and carrier integrations you enable such as Delhivery. Where you configure email or notifications, messages are delivered through an email provider. Each provider processes data under contract and only for the purpose of providing their service to us.
We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Logibuddy, our customers and the public.
Retention
We keep operational data for as long as your account is active so your registers and history stay complete. Automated backups are retained on a rolling basis for recovery. When you close your account we delete or anonymise data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records to meet legal, tax or accounting obligations.
Security
Access to the platform is protected by authenticated logins and role-based permissions (Shield roles), configurable per branch and per user. Data is encrypted in transit. We take regular automated backups and restrict internal access to what staff need to support the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
Your rights
Depending on where you are based, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. For operational data where your company is the controller, please raise these requests with your own organisation — we will support them as your processor. For your own account data, contact us using the details below.
Cookies
The website and application use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand basic usage. Full detail is in the Cookie Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform and the law evolve. When we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the application.
